Acceptable Use Policy

What you may not do with TimeSpan. Breach of this policy is a material breach of the Terms.

Last updated: 7 August 2026 · Africa Procurement Group Ltd

1. Protecting the platform

You must not:

probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service or breach its authentication or access controls; circumvent or attempt to circumvent usage allowances, entitlement checks, metering or rate limits, including by rotating accounts, keys or IP addresses; run automated traffic at a volume or pattern liable to degrade the Service for others; or interfere with any other customer's use.

Responsible security research is welcome, but must follow the disclosure process on our security page and must never involve another customer's data, denial-of-service testing, or social engineering of our people.

2. Protecting our intellectual property

You must not copy, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code, solver logic or algorithms of the Service; use it to develop, train or assist a competing product; scrape or systematically extract its content; resell, sublicense, or provide it as a service to third parties except as expressly permitted in writing; or publish benchmarks without our prior written consent.

3. Lawful and appropriate data

You must have a lawful basis for all personal data you submit and must have given any privacy notices your own staff require. You must not submit special category or criminal offence data without written agreement from us (see Annex 1 of the DPA), nor use the Service to harass, unlawfully monitor or discriminate against any person, nor for any unlawful purpose.

TimeSpan schedules people. Using it to build rosters that breach working time limits, rest break entitlements, driver hours rules or a collective agreement is a breach of this policy as well as your own legal exposure. Review every proposed schedule before you act on it.

4. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected breaches and may throttle, suspend or terminate access, with or without notice depending on severity, under clause 15 of the Terms. Where the platform detects abnormal usage we may automatically apply limits to contain it before a person reviews the case. Report abuse to security@timespan.online.
